OVERVIEW
The Power Potato Planter is a ground-driven implement that completely plants potatoes, bulbs, or tubers in single pass.  As the Planter is towed behind your tractor, it opens a furrow, deposits individual seed potatoes in the furrow, then buries and hills the potatoes with self-cleaning bedder discs.

Seed potatoes or tubers are held in the Planter's injected poly hopper which has a capacity of 110 lbs.  A vertical chain conveyor of poly cups lifts them individually from the hopper to be deposited behind the shovel that makes the furrow.  Furrow depth is adjustable by adjusting the height of the shovel with a single bolt.  The spacing between seed potatoes can be modified with four optional settings (10", 12", 14", 16") by adjusting the gear ratio of the pinions.  Hilling depth is adjustable via the rear bedder discs.

The Potato Planter's standard poly cups are designed for planting potatoes of variable size between 30 - 50mm (1.2 - 2").  A full set of reducer cups are included for use with potatoes smaller than 30mm.

This attachment is 31.5" wide x 43" high x 51" long (from tow hitch to bedder discs).  It is compatible with tractor models 749, 750, 852 & 853.

BCS America's Power Potato Planter is manufactured by Italian company Spedo, which specializes in potato planting, ridging, and harvesting equipment.
